How to burn it safely:

• Use a plate: Since this is a pillar candle with no jar, always place it on a heat-resistant coaster or plate to catch any melting wax.
• Trim the wick: Keep the wick trimmed to about 1/4” (0.5 cm) before every light.
• The first burn: Let it burn for at least 2 hours the first time so the top melts evenly.
• Putting it out: Use a candle snuffer or dip the wick if you can—this stops black smoke and keeps the wick centered for next time.
• Watch the airflow: Air conditioning or drafts can make it burn faster, so keep it in a still spot for the best experience.
